The 12x12 Wall Calendar

Hi Everyone,

Short, but sweet WILLARD today....We're excited because the NEW CALENDARS have arrived! In addition to the 12 x 12 wall-calendar, we have five other designs for 2010! We've gone calendar crazy! Why? Because not only are they cute, inspiring and uplifting (I hope), they're useful! Here they are...

The 7x7 Small (mini) Wall-Calendar

And next month, we'll be getting our 2010 Easel Calendar ---- and, for the first time ever, a fun new addition to our calendar collection, our 17 1/2" x 11 3/4" Blotter Calendar. More about those two in August.

This is our two-year,checkbook-sized Purse Calendar for 2010 thru 2011

In addition, with this Newsletter, we're offering a very special, waaay-pre-Christmas gift, for those organized souls who are looking for ways to save money and be ready this year. For all orders over $100, shipping will be free.

Our 4x8 Refrigerator Magnet Calendar ( you can cut off the calendar at the end of the year, and still keep the magnet!)

That's saying something because UPS costs an arm and a leg these days! So free shipping until the end of July for all orders over $100 -- you can combine calendars with other products if you want. (Dare I say it, oh well, here goes,)

Merry Christmas

I'm working hard on the new book, getting ready to go to Martha's Vineyard, after I give my TALK in Irvine on August 10; I head to the train station the next day and from then on I have three days of a "room with a view" from my train room, crossing this beautiful country, and going back to Martha's Vineyard for the fall. So excited. Next time I'll write from there and tell you how it is!

Flowers

OK, that's the update for today; back to book writing I go. But not before I give you the tiniest sneak preview of my new book that I possibly can and still have you like me. It's a wee recipe, but pure heaven, fast, easy, and very bang for the buck. I hope that this recipe makes you feel exactly the way the whole entire book will make you feel when it's done (unless you are allergic to limes and then disregard what I just said!).

This will have to hold you though, because I don't want to give the surprise away, I want the book to be wonderful. I'm not really writing a cookbook, despite this little hint, but it will have recipes, because what kind of book would it be if it had no recipes?

And this one is called BASIL LEMONADE, but I make it with LIMES.

Lemonade

You don't have to write it down, because it will be in the new book! WELCOME TO YOUR NEW ADDICTION...and never let anyone say I don't love you...
This makes 1 1/2 quarts.
1/2 c. sugar + 1 c. water
4 whole fresh basil leaves
4 limes, quartered
1/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
fresh basil or mint for garnish
2 + 2 cups water (divided)

Put sugar and 1 cup water in small saucepan, bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat, stir in basil leaves, and chill. When it's cold, pour the syrup into a blender; add limes, condensed milk, and 2 c. cold water. Blend for a few (maybe four) seconds on high, just until limes are roughly chopped. Strain into pitcher. Put 2 more cups of cold water into blender, and then pour through strainer into pitcher, to get the rest of the juices from the limes. Serve over crushed ice, garnished with fresh basil spring or fresh mint. Makes 6 cups (1 1/2 qts.) Enjoy!

With love, Susan Branch
