Just have to tell you that I make “Mary’s Mother’s Snowballs every Christmas, since I first got your cookbook, years ago! It’s a family tradition now, ready to be passed down to my daughter. I don’t know who Mary or Mary’s Mother is, but I thank them (and you) heartily!

I love cookies way more than I really should!
I can’t help it- I come from a long line of cookie lovers. My grandmother actually calls herself the “cookie monster” and at age 98 (no kidding) she always has at least 4 different kinds of cookies in her cabinet!

Hi! I just love this page. It’s so creative! I have one thing to tell you. The link to Annie Hall’s Butter Cookies is missing for some reason. I did find it through editing the link by adding wp-content/cooking/ to the link. I think that page is my favorite; that’s why I came back to look for it. 😀

You have a wonderful site here, Susan. It always makes me smile.

I have loved the cookie jar for years, and I sure wish I knew how it was done as I have some other things I could do for my own business.

Susan, I’ve been a fan of yours for years. Actually, it was before you were “really” well know in the South. 🙂

Love the way you print, your artwork, and always your calendars.

Annie Hall’s Butter cookies…..best sugar cookie recipe, never fails. Most requested by family and friends. I like to roll them on the thicker side rather than thin and frost them according to holiday. A beautiful, thick, soft, buttery, melt in your mouth cookie!!!

Susan Branch, you inspire me. Thank you

Susan, I loved the fall invitations you gave us on your shopping page- maybe if you’re not too, too busy you could do one for a Christmas Cookie Swap? I’m already planning mine, I already have your labels and it would be just the thing 🙂 xoxo Jacqui

Hi there! These cookies are a family favorite! A must have and sought after at my holiday party! My question is…I recently broke my arm! My daughter is coming to help me prepare for the party. So I want to make the cookies 4 or 5 days in advance. I think I have done this before but can’t remember how they came out! Do you think it’s oktomake them ahead and freeze them with the Hershey kiss inside or should I freeze the dough let it thaw the day of and then add the kiss? Thanks a bunch for any advice/thoughts! Jennifer
