This is my secret weapon for morning energy, a delicious Breakfast Smoothie aptly calledt’s full of fresh juicy fruit and as many organic ingredients as possible. I add soy protein powder; available in most markets or health food stores; it really packs a punch! Add it to your morning smoothie and say:
he color alone wakes me up! But let me try and tell you how it tastes when it wraps its cold, pink, antioxident-stuffed self around your tongue and travels to the far corners of your mouth, making all of your taste buds instantly jump up and say, “Thank You!” It’s sunshine in a glass, a pink sunrise on a June morning, health on wheels; it puts a spring in your step, a sparkle in your eye, and gives you instant energy. And so delicious!

I have to be honest, Susan, when I saw the name, I fell out laughing as another ‘morning thunder’ popped into my mind! But I won’t linger there lest I fall out again. I will try your recipe (wiping tears from eyes), because with nearly three weeks of incessant rain, I can use an energy boost! Oh, no, I just noticed the pepto-bismol-pink! Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha! Sorry, Susan… I’m not usually like this…well, yes, I am! Laughter really is like good medicine! Whew, I feel better already. Thanks, Susan! You’re the best!
I’ve had this for breakfast MANY times you posted about it a couple of years ago. It. Is. AWESOME. It’s my favorite breakfast. You’re a wonder, Susan Branch!
Smoothies can be FROZEN, too!! Just an FYI if you’re wanting a frozen treat after working in the garden or to sneak some yummy fruits and veggies into a little one’s tummy….
Gotta be tricky to be a wholesome mommy sometimes!! LOL

If not at the supermarket, and many of them carry it these days, then look at a health food store. Thank you Susie!
