Cute!
you can also just cut the bottom of the pumpkin flat off. you can’t tell it. it might be easier to set a plate holding a candle or a candle alone on the flat ground with the pumpkin over it.
So cute! ♥
Wonderful! Trick or Treat – I love being scared & soothed, especially if the soothing involves chocolate! Happy halloween! 🙂
So adorable, Susan! Thank you. I love Joe’s designs, especially the Cat’s Meow…that curvy mouth is so cute! And what a great tip is adding the cinnamon! Only YOU would think of that! I’m going to try it. Great inspiration to get us going in time for Halloween…..xoxo…kp
I’ll tell him you said so!
I had a girl kitty like that black and white one in the picture. Her name was Josie…I miss her all the time! She was a feisty one…would TOTALLY crawl inside a pumpkin like that.
I love the cinnamon tip, what a great idea. You are so clever…
I am going to try that cinnamon this year…yummy. I’m so excited for fall this year! Thanks for this tip! 🙂
♫♥ Boooooooooooooo! These are The Best Pumpkin Faces Sweet Sue!…I Love to Carve The Pumpkins & Turn Them into Jack~O~Lanterns! Pure Halloween Magic…I Rub the Cinnamon too…& I stick a few Cloves in too…ahhhhhhhhhhh The Smells of Autumn….Yay! You’ll see Me Twirling in The Pumpkin~Patch! xoxo Poof! Thank~You Sweet Sue & Joe!♫♥ 🙂
I cannot decide which is my favorite . . . I love them all! I have never thought of carving the lids at angles so they won’t fall in and rubbing the inside of the lid with cinnamon so the smell good. I will definitely have to try these excellent ideas. I mainly look forward to eating the toasted Pumpkin Seeds . . . so much tastier than the candy corn and chocolate (I think)!
Pumpkin carving is right up there with tree trimming in our house! Joe makes sweet faces on your pumpkins! We are carving ours on Wednesday night….will be a bit sad this year as my son is not living in the area so we won’t have his wonderful, if not a bit demonic pumpkin in our line up.Seeing all the different faces each year on the family’s pumpkins is one of those things that light me up like a jack-o-lantern!
Love them all, but Casper captures my heart. He is such a good little ghost! And Joe carved him perfectly!
