I have a bid in on this cookbook on Ebay..I sure wish it was still in print..
Oops, I meant the Autumn cookbook.
It might come back!
Do you have a recipe for lemon-pepper scones?
No, mine is for lemon pepper biscuits. Heart-shaped.
I love this meatloaf! I also top it off with ketchup (catsup) brown sugar glaze. Scrumptious.
Mmmm, you just made me hungry!
I must say your turkey meatloaf is everything you say and more. Made it today for Sunday dinner along with mashed potatoes/gravy, home-canned green beans, and buttermilk biscuits. My son was VERY happy! I did cheat a little by substituting Perdue ground chicken for the turkey, because I’m picky about poultry and I didn’t know who grew the turkeys. Perdue doesn’t use meat by-products in their feed.
Your combination of seasonings and vegetables is sheer genius, Susan. It’s another keeper! Thanks so much!
Isn’t it yummy? I photographed it the last time I made it and was going to do a post on it, but it isn’t the most beautiful thing I ever made, so I never did, but whatever it lacks in charm, it makes up for in flavor!
I made your turkey meatloaf again yesterday and today for lunch had a slice between two pieces of cracked wheat bread with mustard. It’s one of the few meals that I could eat the leftovers for the next 3 or 4 meals and not complain! I’m actually looking forward to a slice at breakfast with an egg over easy, lots of pepper and a sliced tomato. Be still my heart! I’d better get to sleep, so I can get up and get at it! 🙂 xoxo
This sounds wonderful, I think I will make this today for Sunday dinner with mash potatoes and the corn bread… Can’t wait to smell it all … Happy Sunday ty
It’s positively delicious! The only problem I have is that we hardly make it till the next day for sandwiches, it’s kind of addictive!
BEST meatloaf ever! Want to know how I know? My daughter who is in college just texted me at work to ask for the recipe 🙂 And my husband, who is a beef-eater all the way LOVES it, even though it isn’t beef.
Passing the big tests! It’s delicious isn’t it? And way more healthy with all those veggies in it!
I’ve made this so many times over the past 15+ years. Have not made in over 2 years but your recipe popped into my head for some reason today. Going to make it tomorrow night and take up to mom and dad’s for our weekly Monday night dinner:) BEST meatloaf ever! Thank you Sue
This is my favorite!! Moist and so flavorful! As soon as I put it into the oven, I can’t wait to pull it back out. Amazing!!
Hi, Susan!
Is this recipe in one of your books? I’ve never made it but think it will be just the treat I was looking for for a friend who had a tooth pulled today. Poor thing! I want to bring her dinner tomorrow and I was thinking a tender meatloaf would be perfect!
Hope you’re enjoying this glorious sunshiny weather outside playing in the garden.
It’s in the Girlfriend Book! And who doesn’t love meatloaf, besides being delicious, it’s homey and comforting! xoxo
