Hello from Smallville!

“Hello,” as my dad says, “from Smallville!”  ‘Cause that’s where I live too.  And I like it lit the firehere.  Sometimes the world just seems too big ~ but the bigger it gets, the smaller I get ~ because here in Smallville,  it’s always a nice day. There’s plenty to do in Smallville too … it’s not a boring place.

Things that don’t count in the big world are EVERYTHING here.  When the world tries to get into Smallville and upset the smallness, I shut it out, turn on the MUSICA (listening to this now), light a fire (hearing it crackle), watch the birds busy at the feeders (peep-peep), and do what needs to be done.

toxic world

doing dishes

Like cleaning shelves. Nothing more common sense than this, sometimes it needs to be done.  I give myself a sense of purpose and accomplishment by getting the cooking juices off yellow glasswaremy shelves with a hot soapy cloth; washing dishes (I wash the ones with gold trim on them by hand) and putting them back on the shelves, shiny and clean.  Standing back and looking at my handiwork and saying, “ahhhh, look at that sparkle!”  I’m always happiest when my corner of the world is clean and organized and a new year for me always includes organization, which my mom says, is the key to success.

doing dishes

Some of the dishes are washed by hand, and these just came out of the dishwasher.

doing dishes

It’s before dawn and my audience is very quiet, just waking up, she pussyfoots around.  No loud applause.  Just purring.

And speaking of organization . . .

address book

The other thing I wanted to share with you is an organizing thing that has turned out to be SO GOOD I had to tell you about it.  I had this old (no longer in print) unused address book lying around, so I grabbed it and turned it into a brand new thing.

address book

It’s now my “Internet Address and Password Log Book.”  Before I thought of this, I had all my notewebsites and passwords written, but not alphabetized, on four pieces of paper (adding more pages all the time) that got limper and more tattered and worn by the day; torn on the fold and messy with additions and pencil smears ~ I would have to “re-do” the whole thing every so often.

watercolor flowers

address book

Now I have a real book I can put everything in. Like here, under C, the phone number and email address for Customer Service at my Studio.

watercolor flowers

address book

It’s a hard-cover book with alphabet tabs that keep everything I need right at my fingertips.

organization

For instance, under M, for Mom, here are all the websites, user names and passwords I need in order to pay my mom’s bills online.  There are copies of her two credit cards, in case I need them. (These pages look a lot better in real life than they do in these photos ~ I didn’t think it would be very smart for me to show the world my passwords so I sort of squiggled them out; I knew you would be proud of me for the quick thinking.)

advice from mom

address book

Under G is my Google Password, and all my contacts with the people at Gladys Taber, my Gmail and Goodreads Passwords too.  Under S, I have web addresses for all the online places I like to Shop, passwords and usernames for shoes and sweaters and art supplies (sometimes I cross-reference and put art supplies under A, or U for Utrecht); under P, I have my Pinterest and Paypal account numbers . . . under C I have my Computer fix-it people, my Credit Card account numbers and contacts, and so on. I can pack this book up and take it with me no matter where I go! Very handy don’t you think? SO much better than my previous way of doing it.

address book

I thought maybe this was something you might want to do. And, just in case you don’t have an old address book lying around . . .

watercolor flowers

address book

I do!  Two in fact, you can choose! You like yellow?  We have yellow.  You like blue? We have blue!

Both come complete with alphabet tabs . . .

address book

They’re both in full color, binder style, they come with lots of pages. I blow on my fingernails, polish them on my sweater, say to myself, Brilliant!  It makes me feel good to be organized.

address books

And if you like it too, I have something for you!

A new drawing for these two “Internet Address Books,” one for our lucky winner, and one for the lucky winner to give away to her lucky friend! All you have to do is leave a comment and you’ll be entered into the drawing.  (NOTE: If the blog is mailed to you, you might not see a place to leave a comment, go directly to www.162.240.10.175/~susanbs3/susanbranch/, scroll to the bottom of this post, look for the tiny word “Comments” at the very end in tiny grey letters, click there to comment so you’re entered into the drawing.)  Vanna (she’s our virtual in-house Game Girl and “random number generator,” although she would hate to be called this) is on high alert, ready to do her job in a few days, to choose the winner.

So here in Smallville, all is well, even though it’s freezing outside . . .

And everything is coated in this crisp frozen-on snow crust . . .

The wind whistles and the shutters bang and ice crystals grace all our upstairs windows ~

Inside Smallville, it’s 72°, it’s organized (within reason) and as flowery and summer-like as  I need it to be while I paint for our new 2016 calendars.

  1. Arleen C. says:

This is a wonderful idea! I live in a “Smallville” too (wouldn’t have it any other way). I just love, love , love your blog! Thank you for everything..

  2. That’s a great idea! Right now, all of my passwords are written on different index cards in a card file, mixed in with too many other things! I would love to get all of it more organized. Thanks for another great idea. Your book “A Fine Romance” is a favorite of mine – my Grandparents and lots of other relatives moved to the USA from England, by ship. So I love that book – feel like I am getting to visit their homeland.

  3. Melissa says:

The internet address book is THE best idea ever! My goal this year is to get organized. Go through every cabinet, drawer and closet and clean it out! I love the blog! It keeps me connected to the island that I love so much but have not lived on for quite some time now. Thanks Susan!

  4. I love the idea of an internet address book. Also it’s fun to do a little “spring Cleaning” and organizing when it’s warm and toasty indoors and only single digits outdoors as it was this week in NH.

  5. Karen Felix says:

This is such a great idea for organizing passwords and Internet sites. I too have pages of Internet information sitting on my desk that is not organized. This idea will help me find the information necessary for those infrequently used web pages and passwords! Thank you. Happy New Year, Karen

  6. Cocoa says:

Love the satisfaction of getting things organized, today I started organizing my art room again. Don’t know how it gets so messed up, I am the only one in there!!!

  7. Pat Johnson says:

Of course you are an amazing GENIUS!! I love love love the address book idea. The interesting thought is that now we will be able to identify all of the BFFs because they will be carrying around a special address book without actual addresses of friends/family. How funny!! San Luis Obispo County is a little warmer now and has been overcast for a few days BUT we can live with that! I really loved your pics of the dishes you are cleaning (along with the shelves). Nothing gives me greater pleasure than washing the dishes that belonged to my Mom, Grandma and Great-Auntie Harriet. Or simply a treasure that I picked up along the way – Beatrix Potter dishes, etc. Makes me feel so special. Right now everything is tucked away because my Grandson, wife and my Great-grandson are living with me and my house is not my own. BooHoo….. someday I will get back my space. And by then all of my dishes will need tender loving care – ahhhhhh. Oh happy day to all of you out in the world!! XXXXOOOO

  8. Jane says:

I loved the address book idea!

  9. Marianne says:

Love the idea of using an address book for all those passwords and other important numbers and notes! New year and organization sure go together. Love your blog and the photos of your dear home and those kitties too!

  10. Maryann Spence says:

I, too, have the tattered sheets of paper for e-mail addresses and blog spots I visit. The “snail mail” address book is over 20 years old and also needs up-dating. Cold winter evenings are the perfect time to redo them all and get organized. Here in western Wa state, we don’t have snow, but we do have more rain/water than we know how to handle – LOTS of flooding. I’m so thankful we live on a hill, but my heart goes out to those with water in their homes and vehicles. Always enjoy the pictures of your corner of the world.

  11. Cindy Colombo says:

Thanks Susan, Great idea to stay organized.

  12. Mimi says:

Your address books are beautifully artistic. I hope I win as I would love one.

  13. Debra Ann says:

Great Idea!! I will be doing this.

  14. Karen Pf. says:

Perfect timing! With numerous passwords I’ve been thinking how best to keep them organized instead of having pieces of paper laying around and this address booklet would be great!

  15. Char Jennings says:

Ok, I already had the idea of using an old unused address book two years ago for my passwords! (Great minds…) However, I have been cramming every last bit of room in my old unalphabetized notebook in terrible procrastination of facing the time it will take to actually transfer every one of them! I work full time and it just seems an overwhelming task

    • sbranch says:

I started slow, put just the main ones at first, but learned to love it so much, soon I couldn’t wait until they were all moved.

  16. debbie young says:

I use two of your address books now and love them….ready for a new one, think I will try yellow!

  18. Tracey says:

I’m having one of those “Why didn’t I think of that?!” moments! I love simple solutions … I
much prefer them to all the high tech ones out there. Ah, such is the beauty of Smallville!

  19. Martha J. says:

That is a wonderful idea for passwords. I actually have the address book you use for your passwords. It’s my address book! I would love to have the other two books!

  20. Catherine L says:

Hello Susan! I love your blog! Say, my husband is computer savvy and is going to install or do something to my computer that will allow me one password for all my Internet websites and maybe apps too (not sure…I’m obviously not computer savvy)! Having to look up all my scribbled passwords on several 4 x 6 notecards these past few years, and periodically having to recopy everything, is making me insane. I can’t take it anymore!
If you are interested in what my hubby does to my computer, I will let you know what it is….when he gets around to it!

  21. Vickie in Cleveland says:

What a brilliant idea to use an address book for all the passwords! I love this idea! I have so many passwords for so many different places, I can never remember all of them.
Oh, I just had to read all about sweet Jack again. I just love that boy! I have my own tuxedo cat, plus three others. They all all so sweet, and nothing beats a kitty cuddle in the cold wintertime!

    Vickie in Cleveland

  22. Carolyn mix on says:

Thank you for bringing your warm and wonderful world into all of ours to brighten and cheer us up in such positive ways. Yes I would like ever so much to be the lucky winner of one of your address books. Am looking forward also, to your new book, hope we can see this release this year, what a treasure it will be for me. All stay warm and cozy, and keep working your magic for us to enjoy.

  23. Gloria says:

What a great idea ! Everytime I come here, it’s like coming home. There’s so many scary things going on in this world nowadays. It’s comforting to come here and read your blog and look at your beautiful pictures. Thank you so much for keeping things simple, innocent and beautiful ! As the saying goes, “Take the time to smell the roses “.

  24. Candi S., Long Beach, CA says:

Happy New Year!! What a fantastic idea! I have little post-it notes in a folder for my passwords, frequent websites, etc., but it would be great to have one of your address books!

  25. Ginene Nagel says:

    Susan,
You are doing your share to take care of two cats. I always have two, it is no harder than to have one and some many need homes. And, as always, doing something for someone else always turns out to be a gift for ourselves. I always enjoy your posts.
    Thanks for all the enjoyment.
    Ginene

  26. Deb says:

I love your idea of re-purposing an address book. I do write passwords and user names down because I can’t remember them all but I can’t always find them quickly. This is terrific. I’m newly subscribed to your blog and I have to say “I love it!” Thank you!

  27. Sharon Elaine says:

I actually need an address book and an internet address book – so I won’t be sharing these treasures. Just happen to love yellow and blue, as well.

  28. Ginger says:

Hey, funny thing, I live in Smallville too!

  29. Audrey Waite says:

I had 2 white kittens when I was young. I forced them to ride around in my doll buggy. Thought they didn’t like it at the time, but when one was ready to have kittens, she wanted to have them in that doll buggy. Was I ever proud of my kitty then! My mother quickly moved her to a box in the basement. Darn. I’ll never forget having kittens in the house – they are too darn cute just like Jack!

  30. Suellen Dehnke says:

I could really use some help with organization. It’s never been my strong suit. Thanks for the giveaway.

    Suellen

  31. Terry McM says:

Thanks so much for creating such a beautiful address / organizing book!! Would love to win it and would LOVE to give one to a friend.

  32. Cinda says:

I have the original Heart of the Home address book and used it today.
I love your idea of organizing all the passwords alphabetically.
My passwords are listed randomly in the back of an old moleskin datebook. It’s a chore to find what I’m looking for.
Thanks for the give away…my fingers are crossed that I’m the lucky one!
    Happy (organized) New Year!

  33. Donna Hrehor says:

What a great idea about the address book being used for websites and passwords!!! Would love to win them!!! Thanks Susan! Donna (Idaho)

Great idea for organizing important data in your address books. And thank you for sharing beautiful pictures of winter. It’s in the 70s in Orange County, CA.

  35. Judy Berna says:

Love the idea and have used a checkbook register in the past but it has gotten very disorganized. Will use you idea even if I don’t win.

  36. Teri says:

That is a wonderful idea…I have them scribbled on bits of paper at my desk. I’d love to have an address book to organize them in. When will your book be finished? I am so ready to read it.

    • sbranch says:

I’m ready to have it done. Fast as I can, but must do calendars for 2016 first. There’s always something!

  37. PJ says:

    Hi Susan
Smallville sounds like every ones dream town. We could all use a place like that. Our weather in Nevada can’t seem to make up its mind. Warm, then cold, then warm again. We have had snow but it is starting to disappear. The birds have been hanging around the feeder so that is a plus. Your idea for the address book is genius! Organization is a wonderful thing. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
    xoxo
    Pam

  38. You have the best blog ever … always love reading it.

  39. LeeAnne F says:

  40. Jan says:

Your tattered paper sounds exactly like the one I carry with me. Great organizational idea. And your Smallville seems just lovely. Happy New Year, Susan!

  43. Susie says:

Oh Sweet Susan, it’s Susie here, in Dallas, a/k/a Largeland, you know, everything’s bigger in Texas. These days, I’m desperately seeking the simplicity of Smallville….thanks for the reminder of just how splendid it is. So enjoy the glimpses into your little world. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me…and so many others.

  44. Carol Brown says:

Wonderful! I am in the middle of my ‘winter organization and clean out’. I love your creative idea using an address book for more than the usual. Right now I keep my info under notes on my phone. I’ve been thinking this is not the best solution.
    Happy 2015 Susan

  48. Merle says:

Great idea! These really are great for real phone numbers too. I have all my numbers stored in phones and I don’t know any anymore. It would also be good to have a small purse size version. If you ever are without your cell phone, at least you will have peoples numbers!

  49. Christie says:

Susan what a great idea. Thank you.

  50. Joanne says:

Great idea about using the address book!

  51. Regina says:

I have the older version of your address book and I love it! Loved all your dishes. It is the season to get organized. It feels so good when you get even a little bit done. Very cold here in Kansas so it’s a good time to stay indoors and get some things done.

  52. Karen says:

Hi Susan. Thank you for writing and sharing this uplifting “Smallville” blog—-such sage advice about a precious way of life. And by the way, VERY timely with the reminder to “Get a Kitty–Just do it” because we adopted a beautiful girl kitty this week and you would not believe how much she could be Jack’s sister—she has a beautiful signature tuxedo and emerald green eyes. She is a bit bashful but as soon as she is comfy with us and I can snap a photo I will send it your way. Happy 2015!

  53. Diana from Ohio says:

Love your beautiful dishes. Love the address books and what a great idea. Even if I don’t win one I will have to hunt around here for an address book now. I know I have some somewhere just not sure where. Have to get organized!!!

  54. Kristi says:

Thanks for the great idea for keeping email addresses, etc. organized! I hope I win these treats because I have a friend who needs one even more than I do! I loved re-reading Jack’s story; he’s adorable (of course, you know that)!

  55. Debb S (from Minnesota) says:

From Frozenville to Smallville, this book would definitely warm my heart every time I open it!

  56. Judy says:

Hi Susan, you always have such great ideas. Thank you so much for scattering joy our way.

  57. Kris says:

I enjoy spending time in my own “Smallville” too! And as I write this, my kitty is laying on top of me sleeping – he’s my fur baby and makes my life so happy! I love your address book idea – and your books are the perfect style for it!

  58. Dana says:

I have too many random scraps of paper on which are written very specific (and important!) bits of information! I love your idea for a one-stop-book of pertinent info 🙂

  59. Amy says:

Thanks for the great idea!! I bought the blue address book last year at Barnes and Noble. I love it and all the wonderful artwork inside!! I love organizing at the start of the new year. Hope your year is off to a good start!!

  60. Judy says:

Thanks Susan, this is a great way to get organized.

  61. Angie V says:

I love actually writing down lists, addresses, memos, etc. I just can’t get used to doing it on my phone!! Yuck!

  62. Ellen says:

I love these beautiful address books! Pretty and functional. Love your creative organizing suggestions, too!

  63. Gail Weitzel says:

I love being organized, although it happens too infrequently for my comfort level! I’m a card-maker and my craft room is invariably messy—but one of my New Year’s resolutions is to organize it. I think I’ll be much happier if things are in their proper place!

  64. Sarah from SLO says:

Susan, thank you for the idea of a passwords address book. As I’ve moved into my late 20’s it seems there are more and more accounts (in order to pay bills!), which all have different usernames and passwords. Becoming organized is a great resolution for 2015! And, I loved the kitty picture at the end! I wish I could get another kitten, but my all black kitty, Posie (who is curled up in my lap as I type), is such an only child. Maybe someday in the future! Thanks for the inspiration and 3 blog posts in the first 9 days of 2015, LOVE IT!

  65. Rita from MN (Proud Auntie of Faith Rose) says:

Oh, Susan, leave it to you to come up with such a wonderful idea! I have both of the Address Books. I bought the original years ago and some of the pages are looking worse for wear (and changed addresses) so I bought the second one just in case I might some day need a new one. Well, I am much too practical to get rid of the old when it still has life in it so the new one sits and waits for its purpose in life. You have given it its purpose! What a great idea! My passwords are spread out over several notebooks and lists. Sounds like a great “to do” for the new year. And, oh, if Vanna chooses me I know I can find friends to share with.
P.S. Planning on spending the cold weekend indoors journaling in my SB Christmas Memories book. I have been doing it every since I got married and will be journaling my 14th Christmas with my husband. Absolutely love the book. I bought several of those years ago also so I could for sure journal through or 20th. Here’s hoping I will be able to find another when needed.
Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy 2015!

  66. Doreen Higgins says:

Dear Susan, Joe, Girl Kitty, Jack and Everyone,
Happy New Year to all!! How nice to start the year off with the possibility of winning something!! I love it! I so enjoyed this email, lovely dishes, lovely pics, and what a great idea for address books!! Very smart Susan!
I agree with too much information sometimes. Its scary and overwhelming. We all need to be kind, care for others well being, and just always do the best we can. Life should not be so full of worry. I really believe that if we would just care for each other not only ourselves we would be so much better off. There are so many good kind people in this world! We are all lucky to have you Susan with all of your upbeat, kind, beautiful and helpful emails.
I hope to win the contest, but wish all the girlfriends good luck!
    Peace and love to all,
    Doreen

  67. Susan Cook says:

What a grand idea! Thanks for the opportunity to win and put it in practice.

  68. Lindy James says:

What a great idea! I actually have that first address book, but used it for addresses, but not either of the two you are giving away. Keeping my fingers crossed. Happy New Year!

  69. Jean says:

Beautiful address books! Prettier than my present system of using index cards! You offer a visual, step-by-step tutorial in how best to enclose all that important information! In ONE book to keep in ONE place and all at your finger tips! Genius! Thanks so much for sharing such a great organizational tip!
HAPPY ORGANIZED NEW YEAR! Already I’,m off to a good start using your
blotter calendar!!! It is beautiful and such an uplifting way to begin each and every day in 2015!!!

What a great idea, to use address books for organizing! I would love it! I wondered if you ever made a stacked block, square calendar, where you tear off a page a day. Each page would have a picture–that you drew of course, and a quote, for each day. I would buy! I recently bought the young adult book “Wonder”, by P.J. Palacio, which is a great book our book club read. The author, also wrote a book called “365 Days Of Wonder {Mr. Brown’s Book of Precepts}”, related to the book, “Wonder”. It has a quote on each page, which leaves lots of space for a gratitude thought or some short journaling. I decided to use it for a journal/gratitude journal. Both books are great–worth reading for adults and kids. I wish every middle and high school student would read “Wonder”. I think you would love both books. I hope I did not already mention these books in an earlier comment to you–I don’t think I did! My feeble memory! I have been trying to let people know about them so just letting you know I only am meaning to tell you about them once. In case this is a duplicate comment.

This is a sweet idea Susan…much nicer than my little $1 photo album filled with 3×5 cards and slips of paper…yours is more classy and definitely prettier !

  78. Robin in NJ says:

Love, love the idea for the address book! I am organizer, too, so I love the great ideas you always share. Coincidentally (regarding your “kitty love” comments), we adopted an abandoned kitten a few days ago that we found in a parking lot with a broken leg AND a broken tail. Poor baby! But, she’s on the mend now (my vet is awesome!) and we hope she’ll be happy in her new home.

  79. Nancy says:

Wow! I love your idea for keeping all your web addresses, etc in the address book What a lovely after Christmas gift that would be. Thanks for sharing!

  80. jill jenkins says:

The address book idea for passwords etc is a great one! I enjoy reading your blog posts and look forward to getting them!

  81. Mary Parsons says:

My address book is almost 40 years old. Half of the people in it are dead! Sorry I have sick sense of humor. I have whited out and stickered over most all of the pages. But there is funny little things the kids wrote in it when they were young. My favorite is “Can I help cook dinner?” by my son who grew up to be a chef. He still can’t find scratch paper when he needs it. Love hearing from you and a new address book for passwords is a great idea.

Oh Susan, I love Smallville USA! That’s how I feel about our little place too. We’re having bitter cold temps and horrible wind chillsBye re also. But it’s cozy in here with our fire going! I love your idea about using the address book for all of our passwords!! And it seems we all have them and they grow and grow! As well as change!! Lol I would love to win!! Blessings and yes winter is the time to stay in and get organized!! Smile…

Really great idea and they are both super cute. Nice to have a paper copy of these things! Love you blog – new to it and think it’s fabulous. Thank you!

Oh my goodness! How fun, if I don’t win one I’ll have to buy one! And . . . guess what? We got a kitten! Her name is Lexus and she’s a black tabby. We rescued her from a shelter and she’s such a sweet kitty! Just thought I’d share, you’ve always been so generous with your kitty news! 🙂

I love “Smallville.” In fact, I am “Smallville.” Nothing could ever change that in me. I believe that one of the reasons I love reading your books and blogs is that you remain so grounded. You must be the only person in the world in your position (professionally, career-wise, etc.) that still does her own dishes. But what I respect most about you is your love of cats. We are kindred souls, Ms. Susan Branch. I could not function–physically, emotionally, spiritually–without cats. I truly think that cat hair must actually insulate us from much of the negative vibes and bad karma of the world around us.
“Smallville” remembers what “Bigtime” forgets.” In fact, maybe Small is the new Big!

I also could never imagine living without a kitty. I reach down at night, bury my hand in kitty fur and purr myself back to sleep.

new year and time to get organized. I’m adding at least one item to the thrift store box every day. Love reading your blog. Hugs to Jack.

Listening to the Musica is quite therapeutic and that feeling can get you in the organization mood. Cute address books. HAPPY NEW YEAR…

  88. Katherine M. in Austin says:

You are so organized! This is much tidier than my notebook websites listed and clues to my password for that site. The problem is that sometimes I can’t figure out what my clues mean! For sites I use all the time, no problem, but not so with others. Recently an author I follow posted on Facebook that you should have a list of critical (financial, health, etc.) sites and their passwords. This is to be put someplace safe, with whoever might take care of your affairs in case you were to be incapacitated or (heaven forbid!) drop dead. She actually made such a list and filed it with her will in her attorney’s office. It was such a common-sense suggestion that had never occurred to me. Enough of these maunderings ! I would love to use your address book and organize my sites and clues. Meanwhile, I need to make that other list for my power of attorney.

Winter looks lovely in your picture. Your posts are always a bright spot in my day!

Love the animated fire and the organization idea! I’m enjoying my yellow address book that I updated last year and would love the blue one for internet – great idea, thank you! Enjoyed the inspiration for cleaning, too.

  91. Gabriele says:

I would love to win your digital address book?

  92. Kim Wilson says:

Hi Susan. That is so clever the internet address book. Is that a picture of Girl Kitty when she was little? I’ll have to scroll back to see as a grown girl. Take care of yourself.

It’s a kitty at the shelter that was, unfortunately for me, already spoken for. I fell in love with that face and still am. I could make a calendar with that face on every month!

  93. Jane S. in PA says:

I find hand washing my good china and crystal to be very therapeutic and I too get great satisfaction when everything is gleaming again. Somehow you even make a dishpan full of soapy water look homey!

Your address books are delightful as is your wonderful blog! I just love it when you post a new entry and I get to read and view your way of looking at the world. I have been a fan of yours for years, but am new as a blog follower. Please keep doing what you do – you make the world a much better place!

Oh my goodness! I was in la-la land while reading this comforting post!
I LOVE your use of the address book. I MUST do this! My notes are all over the place and I can never find a password when I need it! You are brilliant for thinking of this!
I just adored going down memory lane with posts on Jack! He is so adorable, but I don’t have to tell YOU that! I have 3 cats of my own. A male ginger colored guy named Keke. He is our little lion, he has a bit of a mane! He’s so sweet, but temperamental, yet he is the Prince of our home. And we have his sister from a litter later. She is small, sweet, primpy, and quite independent. Her name is Misty, because of her coloring. Then we have an adopted guy named Smokey. He was abandoned by some renters in our neighborhood. He is sooooooo grateful to have been adopted by us. He used to cry outside at night, poor guy. But he’s happy now! The other two aren’t exactly thrilled having him, but it works out.
Kitty Love is the best!! And so are you!
