    Dear Susan,

All my cookbooks are back in Pennsylvania, we’ve just moved to the grasslands of Eastern Wyoming. My MaryJane Farmgirl friends told me of your blog and site and I raced right over here to get my S. Branch fix. What a JOY it has been.

I am making these awesome Molasses Cookies for my new coworkers on Sunday. We head to town (35 miles away) once a week so I’ll get my supplies and hope I can do them justice in this new “High Altitude” cooking world. Any suggestions to make sure they come out just right?

I want to get on my new friends sweet side RIGHT AWAY! I can’t wait to make them, this new place is going to smell like home.

Thank you for sharing and I can’t wait for the Milk Cake recipe! Looks dreamy.

    All my best,
    Jena

So happy you’re here — a girl after my own heart! You’ll love those cookies, they say “home.” And your new friends will love you!

Oh, yum! Just found your recipe. My Aunt Mary Ann made our family’s molasses cookies for Thanksgiving and Christmas with no recipe. We watched her and still could not duplicate her delicious cookies in flavor or texture. They were my favorite holiday food followed by whole spiced crabapples.
Your recipe will help me begin the family tradition again!
