HAPPY MONDAY GIRLFRIENDS! MUSICA
Those are words from my new book, THE FAIRY TALE GIRL ~ I’m designing bookmarks for it now, I think I’ll put this on one of them . . . I am so excited . . . the book is at the printer ~ it won’t be long now! I just received the color proofs . . . and thought you would like to see.
The printer sent these sample pages so I can check the color and the cut-lines and make sure everything is being printed inside the borders. They looked pretty good to me! They wouldn’t let me keep them, wah, I had to okay them and send them back! Thank goodness for cameras or I might not believe it happened.
I had to paint fairies for the new book, here is one of them, I love her. We have these tiny blue butterflies here on the Island that come for only a couple of weeks in the spring and float down the dirt road with us in the mornings, two or three at a time. Like magic. So I modeled my fairies after them, except of course for the hands and feet! ANYWAY, I just wanted to say . . .
I’m still trying to catch up and get life back to normal. I just finished designing the covers for the 2017 calendars. The manufacturer always needs those first, for their catalog. I have to say, painting “2017” was shocking. I had to go check, I couldn’t believe I had the right date, but I did! So they are done, and right now, I am deep in the throes of writing a new WILLARD ~ I figured it was about time! You have all been so patient. I checked with the Twitter girls last night and everyone said they wanted a long one, so prepare yourself. You might have to take the day off. After that, believe it or not, I will have nothing on my plate. N O T H I N G, I can empty my trash and it will stay empty! How do you like the sound of that? I’m pretty excited. I even got the title for the cover of book two of this Fairy Tale painted:
That book is all written too, I’m way ahead of myself ~ I can work to finish it with art and photos more slowly and over time. Right now, it’s time-out for fruits-of-labor enjoying! Already there’s more time for appreciating the little things that make life sweet, taking the camera out on our walk, having naps with old movies, eating lobsters, taking Jack out to the garden so he can munch the grass and I can admire things like this:
The island is frothing over with hydrangeas these days . . . this one is growing under our bird feeders.
We went out to dinner the other night and watched the sun set over the harbor . . . such a gorgeous evening. Now you know why I call it Isle of Dreams.
Hard to believe you can sit right there and have all that just for the price of a glass of wine and a plate of deep fried oysters. Wow. Right?
We went out for a walk after dinner last night, just as it was getting dark . . . middle of August and quiet, summer nights in our neighborhood, crickets cricketing. You should hear what I hear right now, at 6 a.m. . . . . Not a sound from my studio window but birds singing, cool air flowing in and just the barest light in the blue sky beginning to show outside. My favorite time of day.♥
That’s what I’m doing! There’s one of my blessings drinking out of the sink!↓ ♥
It takes me about four days to write and design a WILLARD, then I send it to Kellee so she can work her magic on it, which means we plan to have it all ready to go by August 18th. Once we push the “send button” it takes about three days for the whole thing to go, it has to be sent in batches (so we don’t destroy the Internets), so if you know anyone who would like to have a WILLARD, they’re free of course, and all you have to do is sign them up and boom, it will show up in their email box (if you don’t see yours, always check your spam folder because some computers might (rudely) block it). And FYI, there will be a mighty fine Giveaway involved in this WILLARD ~ and all kinds of other surprises too. I’ve warned Vanna she might actually have to work when it comes out so she should plan for it! I’m a real tyrant with that girl.
Blog Daddy had so much fun with all your comments and best wishes for his birthday. Thank you for letting him feel how special he is. ♥ You are a power for good. You can take pride in having totally MADE someone’s day. ‘Course you do that for me all the time! So, there you go. Spreading sunshine.♥ Love you ~ have a wonderful day! XOXO
I’ve just spent a very happy hour reading your latest Willard and your blog. I feel restored. I can’t wait to see your new book!
Maybe we have all just read the same books and watched the same movies and dreamed the same dreams…maybe that is why I LOVE your recent post. Enthusiasm can be either overwhelming to others or very INSPIRING. In this case it is so inspiring. Thank you for sharing your dreams and adventures ( and the drive-by of the Presidents motorcade)! Just love it all.
I feel really stupid but this is the only way I can enter a comment on your blog Susan. I don’t see a little gray “comment” under your sign off to enter a comment and to enter your drawings…I love your work and just wanted to tell you that!
You did it perfectly!
Love all your books, recipes and Willard messages! Especially love all the cute cat photos!!
Awesome Willard… as usual! Never too long! I can’t believe you talked about my favorite shows… Turn, Downton (of course) and Poldark. I’m going through Poldark withdrawals right now and since I could DVR the episodes, I’m watching them again and again, especially episode #4 when Ross finally tells Demelza he loves her. I’ve just received the first Poldark book too from Amazon (now you know I’m really pathetic when I have to order the book after watching the TV series) and enjoying it as well. Anyway, have a wonderful day and make sure that I’m a winner for any of your goodies… the book especially will look nice in the bookcase next to A Fine Romance, Girlfriends Forever, etc… after reading of course!
Susan, you are a breath of fresh air. Thank you for your notice of detail for which am I grateful! 🙂
Can’t wait for the new book, gave multiple copies away of “A Fine Romance” last year — especially to my daughter-in-law who moved to London over Christmas! We all loved it.
Willard just arrived! I am one of those lucky folks who has been receiving Willard since “the good old days” when it arrived by snail mail. Now I have to figure out how to print your give-away when I only use an iPad. Thanks for dragging me, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century Susan.
Enjoy your free time – you deserve it girlfriend!
It’s the best way, we need to be there, in order to be NOT invisible! 🙂
Just leisurely read your Willard. It was so relaxing and fun!
Love, Love, Love Willard and your Blog. Thanks for being YOU!
Love seeing pictures of the Vineyard…..I was in Falmouth in July, but did not have time to visit. Pictures look like the view from the Black Dog which I was so sorry to miss this year.
Can’t wait for my book to arrive……..enjoy the rest of your summer….
(you can never have too much happiness)
Dear Susan,
Kathy and I pre ordered the books for each other , we are planning another tea party to read them together.
Can’t wait to get them , hope you come to the book store in Hudson again the owl .
Hugs your girlfriend
Linda Tytko
Hope to do that too Linda!
I just love how you enjoy life and notice all the details – something I am so bad at but your blog encourages me to slow down. I feel like I skim through each day and fail to notice the flowers, sunsets, birds, etc. Love seeing pictures of the kitties!
I can’t imagine that you have time to read with all you are doing, but then I can’t imagine someone like you NOT reading. Here’s a book that you might like after writing your fairy tale. It is The Wild Girl by Kate Forsyth. It’s the story of the Grimm fairy tale family and the girl one of the brothers loved. The Grimm family and the Wild family lived near each other and she is the one who told him many of the stories in their book. I think you would love the book. And I can’t wait to read yours!
It is actually in my pile to read and thank you for saying I should get to it asap!
What fun- a Willard! in my inbox this afternoon!
Of course, I immediately settled in to catch up on some fun news, lovely photos and paintings, complete with musica –the PeRfEcT extra surprise birthday treat for me today. Thank you, Susan, for always bringing a smile and a spot of inspiration!
Happy Birthday Sandi!
Love reading your mails. They always give me a happy feeling for the rest of the day. Keep on writing new books!
Love your blog, artwork, and books
What fun to read your post! I love seeing your house, your island, and of course the kitties! I preordered your latest book and I’m impatiently waiting for it to come in the mail. There is nothing better than a fairy tale – I know yours will be absolutely scrumptious! I have a spot all picked out in my back garden to put my feet up and enjoy it. The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping, and the bees are buzzing. Add to that a little Susan Branch and you have a perfect day.
You can be in my fairy tale any day!
What a joy, to get my copy of “Willard” in my email today! Thanks so much. You remind me so often that there is joy and beauty in the littlest things, if we only take the time to notice them, and that life is not always gloom and doom. Thanks for that! We in Iowa are preparing for autumn, too, and I, for one, can’t have it come too soon! Have a lovely fall, and enjoy it all!
Loved reading the new Willard. I think I have read them all. Can’t wait for the new book. Have all your books, they are such an inspiration. Enjoy the rest of summer.
Just finished reading Willard and your blog. this is the first time I’ve commented but wanted to let you know that I love your artwork. I have purchased several of your calendars and look forward to the new one. Also am looking forward to reading your new books.

Glad you are back- love your kitties!
Hi Susan, I’ve checked for my comment a few times, but was unable to find it, so I will leave another short and quick one. I wouldn’t want to miss out on the fabulous giveaway and I know that Vanna can figure out if there is more than one comment from a person. Your roses are beautiful, the kitties are beautiful, and you and Joe are beautiful. Thanks for another inspiring blog post, and I look forward to the new book. I just received my Willard and am going to pour myself a cup of Lichee Black tea and read it.
Sorry, but we love you more! So happy to finally have all that news plus! So excited about all the new things! How can I write (snail mail). To you? I am so old fashioned promise I won’t bore you! I live on Puget Sound. And also have beautiful views and sunsets. Yes, what a blessing! Seagulls and Eagles! Hot wonderful summer! Love and blessings for all your plans coming up. Lyern
Oh Susan, how I’ve missed you! I can’t wait for your new book. I’ll get all my Susan Branch cookbooks out and look at them until then. On day I’ll be passing them on to my granddaughter.

Loved getting the new Willard and putting several things on my Christmas list. (We get a head start around here.) Don’t now why I didn’t think of it before but my daughter, Autumn, is learning to cook and would love her own copy of “Autumn.” Looking forward to the new books!
Have Autumn make the Pumpkin Cheesecake. People will go wild, and she will be the queen. It’s easy and amazing.
Wow! That was a read! So happy to hear from you once again. Oh, how we have missed you. Your walk along the beach was worth the wait. I could almost smell the sea! Thanks again for sharing your stories. Love and kisses for the kitties!
Susan, Just read “Willard” and it made my day! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talents with me. Look forward to all the new things coming out.
Love getting Willard. You are a very blessed writer to have your Joe encourage you in his own special way. Life is awesome with a loving partner that understands your needs. I know….my husband and I have been together for forty eight years and it just keeps getting better. Thank you for sharing your lovely life with all of us.
Susan,
So glad to hear that Fairy Magic is alive and well! Visiting with you is like a mini vacation! Thank you!
Sherry Aguilera
love your books and very excited about your new book!!
I read your Willard in the wee hours of the morning 1AM today and loved every word. You are such a positive person. And I got to see your backyard when my husband and I walked William Street 8/4/15. We were on an American Star cruise and on the island for the day. I was at the Friends of Gladys Taber reunion in 2014 when you spoke and had your book signing for us. Thank you for being you. Hello and belated Happy Birthday to Joe.
Thank you Sandy! Nice to hear from you!
Hi Susan,
I am so excited about “The Fairy Tale Girl”. I pre-ordered it the moment is was available. I can’t wait to get it in the mail!

Sigh…….Why does Summer have to come and go so quickly? Loved the Willard today! Enjoying the music now!
I so look forward to everything you do. You are my favorite artist. I love your calendars. Thank you for adding brightness to the bleak life that is so painfully happening to me right now. Thanks for the sunshine and your beautiful cats. Melissa
Hi Susan, It’s so fun to read your Willard and your blog! Thank you so much for being you! I just love your art and your smarts and your kindness!
I am suddenly traveling again to England–York and the Lake District this time, in honor of your book I will be seeing Beatrix’s lovely home! I’m so excited!!!! I’ll be touring gardens and thoroughly enjoying the countryside! Of course I’ll be having tea and scones every chance I get!
Much Love and Appreciation to you,
Susan Elizabeth
I read that and I get chills, you are going to have such a wonderful time!
I love reading your Willard mail with all the pictures and can hardly wait for your new book to come out.
Thanks for adding a little sunshine to my day.
Susan, I’ve been tracking our family’s comings and goings on your wall calendars since 1993. I’m not disciplined enough to keep journals like you do, but I keep the calendars and they are a beautiful record of our visits, appointments, vacations, parties — our life! Thanks for the joy and beauty you’ve brought to so many.
What a great give-away! I love that little banner. Can’t wait to get the book. We had such fun meeting you and Joe in Wilmington, Ohio, at the last book tour.
Welcome back!!! So good to hear from you. Missed you.
Summer FLEW by, but it always does for teachers like me! School is back in session and the beaming smiles of my students make me less sad to see the season end. Your enthusiasm for fall has me looking forward to candles, apple crisp, and curling up under a quilt to write lessons.
Hi Susan,
I love the glass of iced tea in the bird bath!
You are the best
Glad you found time to augment your gardens! Ours always seem to be going great, but then we turn our backs on them for a few days (aka go on vacation) and they are just out of control! They’re never the same from year to year… always surprising and always beautiful in their own way. Don’t tell my garden, though… I’m really looking forward to fall!! 🙂
Loved reading every beautiful word and each gorgeous picture! So glad Joe and the kitties have taken great care of you 🙂
Hi Susan, I live a wonderful life but living vicariously through yours
is too much fun….keep up the amazing times and memories!!! xoxo
I look forward to reading Willard and your blog. You have a magic way to bring the pages to come alive! You inspire me to retreat to my sewing room and quilt!
While at work today I was studying your August calendar page, noticing all the color variations, right town to each and every numbered date. I am wanting to learn to do this type of watercolor painting. It was a happy few minutes of my morning. Then I went to lunch and found the Willard! I smiled all through the rest of my lunch, thanks for joining me for lunch today! I too love September, apple picking season is the best! Apple pie, dumplings, crisps and homemade apple sauce! Enjoy your favorite season, I did feel the fall breeze on the way home from work in the Midwest today!
Susan, you are blessed!
I love your drawings and creative art. Thanks for the free stuff to print .I love the owl.
Gee what a treat after a long day of work… a nice long Willard AND blog post!! Beautiful, peaceful pictures of summer, book hints, give-aways, wallpapers, banners, bookmarks, musica,,, and YOU! The full package, and never too much of a good thing!! And Fall, my favorite season is right around the corner too. Your Martha’s Vineyard is definitely my Isle of Dreams… I am there in my heart, and am grateful for the visions of it that you share!! Always so good to hear from you!
Congrats on completion of the new book! Can’t wait to see it!
Happy End of Summer Susan!!! You continue to be such an inspiration to me… Your kindness shines through all you do!!
Thx so much for the great coleslaw recipe-I was looking for a good one-yours sounds delish!
Books, I love books! Searching for something new to read and this is it! Buy the calendar every year. Would love to win, would be a late birthday, early Christmas gift for meeee! Wheee!
What a magical day it was to open my email and find Willard in my inbox! And even more fun to find out you are hosting another fun giveaway! Fingers crossed. Looking forward to reading FairyTale Girl 🙂
Dear Susan you have returned!! I have to say you have been very busy. I have been sitting like a little lost puppy waiting for your next post. I am terrible at the contest rules and things…I am not sure how to enter. This has been a wonderful spring/summer. We always call the weather “a long spring” if it continues to need sweaters day or night. I put my name to preorder your book because I was afraid I might forget. I don’t want to forget but between my fibro and some after effects of the coma I was in last fall. A blessing I came out of it and in my favorite time of the year. Fall is just so precious!!! Your art work just makes my mind tick off to treasures to work on. Latest is a small table I got at our church rummage sale. I can say that I was a little self serving on this. I have this lovely wooden rocker that everyone knows I sit in it (comfort for me can be difficult) but I wasn’t sure what to do with this square end table. After reading Willard my mind started ticking. It is going in the large room we use for “Brides” to prepare, adult classes and it is like a living room set up. We use it for so many things and even the kids enjoy having peace and quiet from those noise adults! I decided to paint a checkers board painted on and of course add my little fairy flowers to grace it and make it more frilly……oh those little 6 year old boys are going to go ewwwwwww. I can’t say how much I have missed you, but you have been busy and a woman on a mission stays on a mission. Good for you!!!!!! I am thrilled with the upcoming book. I don’t know….. am I gonna cry? GOOD!!!!! I love to feel everything a book has to offer and I can imagine the blood sweat and tears for this. So, if I am all set for the gifting, Thanks! I know there is an Irish prayer that reminds me of you and I must find it some day and forward. Okay, I have bent your ear enough. It’s tough when your girlfriend is on a mission, but we respect it and I know the fruits of your labor will make for a super duper book. Oh… can I tell you one more thing. I don’t usually listen to the music because I get hung up with the spinning ball of death. Today and yipity do da it worked. It gave me such a wonderful memory of my mother dancing around the kitchen table and chairs, singing, grabbing her skirt until it looked like a parachute and my brothers and I would laugh because it looked like a spinning top. Sing and dance with joy, Irish joy!!!! Counting blessings with each twirl. Makes me want to get one of those twirl skirts! Anticipation for fall, my favorite time of year and is for most New Englanders. I know you origionally from west in California but there is no doubt in my mind you have a New England soul. Sing and dance and rest in the glory of your new book. =-)
SO happy the music worked, just loved your memory of your mom. Thank you Ginny!
You do absolutely beautiful work!!!
I am a new grandmother of Ellie Jane. She
was born on June 18th. I would like to collect Beatrix Potter figurines and pass on my happy gene to her. Thanks for the cute pictures.
Congratulations Susan!
Absolutely gorgeous photos, Susan! I am so happy that your book is on it’s way to the printer! I for one (of a million!!) cannot wait until I receive it! YAY!!!!
Such a joy to read Willard! Then I go browse your books and art I have collected over the years…your words, your art (and how I love your calligraphy!), YOU are such an inspiration!…and you pulled it all together for me by mentioning one of my favorite 4 letter words: golf⛳️:-)
Looking forward to your blog. My friend was going to England so I gave her my copy of A Fine Romance. She now is a fan of Susan, a new girlfriend!
Yay!
I too have been writing a book from my journals- 22 of them in all. I have one more to read! My book about my life in the last 27 years is a book of photos and descriptions of our family rituals. It will be sold on Amazon with my other books. I love the creative aspect of writing, but it is a long haul! Congratulations to you, Susan. I can’t wait to read it!
– Heather Lagace
Your talents are amazing. Congratulations on the book finish!
Oh I love your descriptions of your Walks! I grew up on the Cape and miss the sights and sounds and smells of early morning at the beach. Thanks for sharing – and taking us with you on all your grand adventures!
Awoke at 6 this morning and found your Willard! Now it is 7:30 🙂
Thank You for the cheer your merry heart brings. I congratulate your completion of your new book…hurray! You go girl. Can not wait to read it and visit one of your book signing events. Blessings on your day dear friend.
Suzanne from Key West
Okay, now I know the actual time involved! 🙂 Yikes!
Oh Susan. I was going back through older comments to see if you responded back. I could not find my post. I hope it is not too late to enter the GIVEAWAYS. Also wanted to ask if you could make a calendar for the school year, a blotter, August-June. My sweet husband ordered you new blotter think I could use it at school now. But I’m good with him thinking that, b/c I did not get one last year:(. So happy day for me come January 2016! Can’t wait for the WILLARD. I’m not letting anyone check the mail box but me! Thanks for sending sunshine my way!
Joyful feeling of peace, gratitude and appreciation for simplicity while reading Willard and your blog! Blessings~
Thank you, Susan, for encouraging us all to stop and smell the roses (and take pictures!) and to enjoy the beauty all around us! You bring beauty! joy! happiness! peace! and contentment! to us all!
Hi, Susan!
First of all, I want to thank you (so much) for all the generosity that you bestow on us, your devoted fans. Between your blog, your wonderful Willard, your thoughtfully and beautifully designed products, many of us believe we live in Martha’s Vineyard, right along with you. And we love it there, too!
I have a question for you, though. I have been looking for quite some time for the print of “Prayer for a Little Home”, that I might be able to purchase. I first saw it in a former colleague’s ( now, good friend’s) office. I used to read it, ponder the meaning (“not many things at all”) and envision our clients reading this as they prepared for their own little homes, after many years of being homeless. It seemed a perfect print for our job, placing homeless families into housing. I always wondered where she got it.
Now, that I have my own perfect little home (with two cats of the house), I would love to have a copy of this print for my wall. However, I can’t seem to locate it on your website. Any idea of where I could purchase this?
Any ideas you could give me would be much appreciated! Happy Thursday to you and your Joe from me and mine!
Carol
It may be in our webstore now, we were just talking about wishing that we had a print of this for the fall season . . . not sure if Kellee had time to get them made, but if not now, then very soon!
Hi Susan! I’ ve just read Willard! Your writing brightens my day! I wish we were neighbors so we could hangout! It’s a beautiful cool morning here in Highland, Michigan and yes a touch of Fall is in the air! The bluejays, cicadas, chickadees, titmouse, are letting their presence be known! Thank you for all the Joy!
I was thrilled to get your latest Willard…I have missed receiving those wonderful newsy messages. Your latest give-a-way sounds delightful. I’ve got my fingers crossed that I will be a lucky winner!!!
Oh Susan, I couldn’t be happier that you have a new book coming out. YAY! Just can’t wait to get it! I have LOVED your work since I first saw you in Country Living magazine, way back when. I saved them all in a notebook, as I did the Willards, when you sent them by snail mail. I still love to write letters and receive them. ( Hopefully not a dying trait) I so enjoy your books and drawings. What a wonderful talent you have, thank you for blessing US with all of it. You’re a delight in person and in print. Thank You and enjoy your Fall time. Fall is my favorite time of year. Love, Cindy Laun
Must say hello to you Cindy and thank you!!!
I’m so glad you are back. We all missed your witty and fun comments. We share your walks and your gardens. You make life seem a little more relaxed (and joyful). Looking forward to your new book. Enjoy the rest of the summer.
Loved Willard! My first one. Looking forward to both books. You have a wonderful talent and share it so generously.
Donna
I feel so lucky and I thank you, Susan, for reminding me of all the beauty in my life!
By the way, I so enjoyed reading thisWILLARD and cannot wait to read your newest book!
I just love everything you do. That’s why, after a second brain surgery in February, I ordered pens, pens, and more pens. And paper…did I mention paper? And books on illustration and calligraphy. And I am beginning to write decorated snail mail letters to all my friends. They are getting blessed…just because of you!
Because of YOU, Linda ! xoxoxo
Exciting — I always enjoy getting a Willard, and this one was fabulously full all the way over the top! I’m looking forward to your new books, too.
I have so enjoyed reading “A Fine Romance” and look forward to your next book! You are a blessing and an inspiration!
Love your new Willard – so nice to find it on my computer early this morning. I have been “chained” to my computer the last couple of weeks getting our latest issue of the Ohio Country Register ready to go to press, so I feel your pain. It’s a good pain, though. I should send my files to press today, so tomorrow I’ll be free too! We’re including your article about your new book in this issue – so excited for you! Congratulations!!!
You’re a doll Barb, it has been a pleasure knowing you! You go girl! xoxo
Thank you for sending out the mini “staycay”, Willard on the vineyard is a happy place in a world of flurry!
Congrats on the new book, may it be a gift of memories to turn the todays into fond yesterdays…
Thank you for ALL the FUN! It Makes life a little more Special !
Hurry hurry hang the quilts out to air before it’s too late, it’s one of my favorite things you do for us. Thanx Susan
looking forward to your new book. arlene
Can hardly wait to get your new books!
I love you, Susan! So glad you’re blogging again. I have my book ordered and I cannot wait to read it. I look to you as a model for enjoying life!
My first Willard! Savored with a cuppa as prescribed and must say – on the deck of my beautiful, sweet “little cabin in the woods” albeit my woods are a meadow surrounded by the breathtaking Rocky Mountains in Southwest Colorado…I now know what hummingbirds experience when supping on nectar! THANK YOU, SUSAN!
Dear Susan,
I love your Newsletter and your Books and Calendars. You are a Kindred Spirit!
Sincerely,
Sharon Korf(macher)
Oh, Happy Day!!! It’s just beautiful here in Indiana – sitting at work with the windows open & a lovely breeze blowing the cobwebs from my desk & brain. Then happiest of all came the email Willard! Life is good! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
When I get Willard, it makes me stop, breathe, and feel like I’m on the island too. One day I’ll travel there to feel the Autumn air. Years ago I visited your CA home, too late, you had packed up and moved. You speak to a hidden part of me and for awhile I remember…. Thank you.
Willard showed up in my email today…what a wonderful way to start a day…so glad we are able to visit with you again!
What a wonderful Willard…love the new book covers…I would love to know the whole story about how you started with your art work. I know part of the story because I have been following you since you were doing articles for Country Living magazine.
Was looking at your cookbooks the other day and also checked out my Black Dog Summer Cookbook, which I got on my travels to Cape Cod. I know Joe was the manager there for many years….I love the early pictures of him from those days…..always liked the recipes, too!!!
Just pre-ordered my Fairytale Girl book…among other things. The first shipment came in a few days…waiting patiently til the book is released. Always have such good service from your online store….from receipts to tracking info…very organized.
Have a great day everyone!!!
Kathie from Limerick
Nice to hear that Kathie, I’ll pass your sweet message on to Kellee and Sheri, who, I agree, do an amazing job of keeping everything going!!! Nice to hear from you!
I have missed Willard so much!! Thank you for bringing him back, and immersing me with fairy dust. I am so looking forward to having FAIRY TALE GIRL in my hands. Can’t wait..
Love,
Carol
Thank you Susan for making my day. When I see the Willard in my inbox It makes me so happy! Martha’s Vineyard is on my bucket list but until I get there you share the island with me in all its splendor. I love your writing and the everyday photos you take that makes me feel like we are having a conversation over tea. I’m a little sad when it comes to the end and I never feel its too long. I can’t wait for your books to come out. Have a wonderful Thursday. 🙂
So love reading “Willard” and following you on your blog. My sister had a black cat who looked like Jack called Midnight. When my daughter was little when we went to visit she called her nightlight! Your photos and drawings take me to places I’ve haven’t been, but hope to, now that I’ve retired. My husband paints watercolors, and enjoys looking at yours.
I have enjoyed your work for many years, keep up the wonderful work girlfriend.
Elaine
I am just discovering your books. A friend gave me a book of yours and I love it. Know I’m off to find out what a Willard is!
