Hi…looking over the recipe, looks like you have 1/2 cup flour. Does not seem enough flour. Is this correct?

I LOVE fall! It is really hard to resist buying a new lunch box for myself and a new pair of loafers. We had an elementary principal – Mrs. Christianson – who would carry a paring knife and cut our apples in slices so we could see the star in the middle! And school lunches were the best…hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes and pizza were my favorites – they also served Neopalitan ice cream sandwiches on waffle cones for 5 cents!

After I finish off the zucchini bread, I’ll have to make the delicious brownies! And, they’re both good for me – veggies & chocolate with nuts! Thank you for the recipe, my dear! xoxoxo

The brownies came out exactly like the picture above. My son had some right when he walked in the door from his first day back to school. He’s 11 years old now. When he first came home from the hospital, his nursery was decorated in Peter Rabbit and all things Beatrix Potter. I love Beatrix Potter. These old Beatrix Potter faithful’s, from his room, are now going to be moving on to a shelf in my kitchen, (he has told me that it is time to get rid of all the “baby” stuff … lol). Thank you Susan for the inspiration. My 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s tea cups and saucers will be right at home on top of all our Beatrix Potter books. I inherited my great grandmother’s and grandmother’s dishes … all of them and I am looking forward to seeing them out in the open.

  8. I just made these and they smelled so good. We couldn’t wait we scooped them out put some whipped creamed on them lol you would have to see everyone trying to eat them hot.. Thank you for sharing the recipe, with Love Janice
