    This will be an awsome addition to the pie’s at Thanksgiving. Warm lemon sauce over gingerbread cake is one of my fondest memories of my childhood. Thank you for the recipe.

    I am looking forward to making this. My mother made gingerbread with lemon sauce and although it was always one of my favorites, I haven’t made it myself for many years. Thanks for posting your recipe.

    Hello, Susan(-: I have never had gingerbread cake with lemon sauce but I adore everything gingerbread and everything lemon so I am excited to make this for my family!     My two favorite things in life… warm gingerbread and lemon… oh my. I can close my eyes and be at Grannies house on the lake and see her whipping up the pies and cake we all adored and loved!     I have a family ‘do’ tomorrow. I was looking for gingerbread with lemon sauce.
    It seemed like a particularly good grandma dish. Comforting with lots of spice

    I do like the presentation of your web page. In fact that, and the recipe for this Gingerbread Cake made me turn on to it. But woe is me!! I wanted to make the cake, but it won’t print. At least it does, but so faint that one can only see odd words. What to do?

    Oh my gosh, this looks so good. My 14 year old daughter Allegra, and I will be hosting a few of our friends to a scary silent movie night for Halloween. (We love, love, love Halloween!) I am going to make this as our dessert.
