Zucchini Nut Bread!

Direct from my private recipe-box stash . . .

Delicious with tea, with breakfast, lunch, and of course, dinner; with an old movie, and after your walk.  And while the baby naps.

And here’s the rest of the story, where your kitchen starts to smell really good!

And when you pull this from the oven, remember me, a person with good handwriting and bad handwriting, but with a really good recipe for Zucchini Nut Bread, the luckiest girl because, besides this to-die-for recipe, she has a LOT of wonderful, poetic, expressive, heart-in-hand girlfriends, YOU.   Loving to learn, everyday, more and more, we are not alone!!!  Happy Baking!  Baby take a bow.

May need to make some to fortify me in my book making saga. Steep learning curve on getting from creating (easy part!) to printed page, but making progress. I’m not giving up!! So good to hear from you, Susan. I know you are swamped, and making progress, too!! Thanks for the inspiration!!! It helps so much to be connected!! <3 xo

Thanks. This is very timely as I’ve been freezing grated zucchini in 2 cup portions today. We have it in abundance. We’re eating it steamed, grilled, and in salads now, but this is something to look forward to in winter.

Wonderful recipe. Love making Zucchini bread at this time of year when the garden is full of extra large zucchini squash. Thank you Susan for sharing this recipe. Looking forward to your new book. Much Love ~ Belinda

Thought you’d want to know that the posted link in the feed is not working. Whenever I’ve clicked on it, it always says “not found”. I finally found this post by putting “zucchini bread” in your blog search box. This may explain why so few have commented. BTW, the recipe sounds delicious. I had a similar recipe years ago but lost it. I love zucchini bread so it’s nice to have this. TFS.

With a bunker crop of zucchini to use, I searched your site for a zucchini bread recipe and was not disappointed. I made this recipe and another from a popular cookbook. My kids joined me for a taste test and agreed that yours is the best! Your recipes never fail! Thanks for sharing, Susan!

Wonderful to hear that Tricia! Thank you! If you have my Summer Book, you might also want to try the salad on page 66 … SO delicious, uses up tons of zucchini!

Susan, thank you for posting this recipe, it really is the BEST! So easy to make and leaves the most awesome aroma in the kitchen. As much as it’s hard to give up summer, this recipe helps transition into that beautiful fall 🙂

OK……..you should definitely be in San Luis Obispo/Paso Robles today!! Our weather is NOT like yours! Today was 101 degrees! Love the thought of the trip – over the ocean and thru the dale and let the fun begin. AAAHHHH I have to wait until NEXT year! Hugs to you and happy winter or fall!!

Ridiculous weather! I’ve always had the worry that someday people might read my blogs and books about the heavenly change of seasons, the leaves and the daffodils and first snowfall, and think, “Oh how quaint.” I love my four seasons, and I don’t want them to blend! And I don’t want California to be on fire, or drowning, or have 101 temps at the end of October!!! Hugs to you Pat!

I copied this recipe by hand in my best cursive on some cute recipe cards. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you!
